Safety and Training Video Production Built For Real Work Sites

Final Cut Multimedia is a Charlotte, NC video production company that has been making safety and training video production work for industrial clients for 20+ years. A visitor induction, a lockout tagout refresher, a new hire onboarding module: these videos have a job to do. Somebody has to watch them, understand them, and act on them. That is the bar we shoot for.

Most training footage fails because it was filmed as an afterthought. Bad audio in a loud plant. A camera that never gets close enough to show the hand position that matters. Narration written by committee. We solve that on set. Charles Canady, our Production Director, leads the crew and plans every shot against your script so the visual actually teaches the step instead of just filling time.

We film inside operating facilities without stopping production. We work around your safety officer, your escort requirements and your shift schedule. If your project also needs construction video production or corporate video production, we handle that with the same crew and the same 1 point of contact.

What We Deliver

Every safety and training video we build starts as a packaged scope. You tell us what people need to know. We tell you exactly what gets filmed, how long it runs, and what you get back.

Induction

Visitor And Contractor Safety Videos

The video a visitor watches at the front desk before they get a badge. Site rules, PPE requirements, emergency exits, muster points. Filmed in your building so it looks like your building.

Onboarding

New Hire Orientation

Company intro, culture, expectations and day 1 procedures in 1 consistent package. Every new employee gets the same message instead of whatever their supervisor remembers to mention.

Procedure

Standard Operating Procedure Videos

Step by step task breakdowns filmed at the machine. Close angles, on screen callouts and clean audio so the correct method is impossible to misread.

Equipment

Machine And Tool Training

Startup, operation, shutdown and maintenance sequences. We film the hands, not just the room. Ideal for teams onboarding to new equipment across multiple sites.

Product

PPE And Product Education

Apparel and gear content for safety brands selling to contractors. Fit, features, visibility ratings and real use context, cut for ecommerce pages and paid social.

Facility

Process And Facility Overviews

A guided walkthrough of how your operation actually runs. Useful for customer audits, supplier onboarding and internal knowledge transfer before a retirement.

Language

Bilingual And Subtitled Versions

Spanish voiceover, bilingual on screen text and burned in or closed captions. If half your floor reads the safety notice twice, the video should not be the reason.

Modules

LMS Ready Video Modules

Chaptered, correctly encoded files sized for your learning management system, plus short versions for toolbox talks and refresher cycles.

Cutdowns

Short Form Refreshers

60 second reminders pulled from the master video for shift huddles, screens in the break room and content for social media.

Facility And Process Videos

When the subject is a building or a workflow, the camera has to move the way a person moves through the space. These are filmed on location, in operation, with sound handled properly so narration sits above plant noise instead of fighting it.

NARD Conference, Service Department Training

Safety Product And PPE Apparel Videos

Safety brands need video too. KwikSafety sells personal protective equipment and high visibility apparel to contractors and industrial crews, so their content has to show fit, construction quality and visibility in a way a product photo never will. These are product and apparel pieces, not job site training footage, and they are cut for product pages, retail listings and paid social.

Apparel Detail And Spanish Language Versions

A second language is not an add on. If your crew is bilingual, produce the video that way from the start. We script, record and cut Spanish versions alongside the English master so both audiences get the same quality, not a subtitle patch.

Our Process

Same 5 steps every time. You always know what happens next and who to call.

01

Scope Call

Jane Caillio, our Operations Director, walks through what the video has to accomplish, who watches it, where it lives and what your site access looks like. You get custom packages to choose from after scoping, not a pile of line items.

02

Script And Shot Plan

We turn your SOP, policy or product spec into a script a person can follow. Your subject matter expert reviews it before anyone picks up a camera. That single review kills 90% of rework later.

03

Production Day

Charles Canady leads the crew on set. We arrive with the right lenses, lighting and audio for a working facility, complete site safety orientation on arrival, and film around your production schedule.

04

Edit And Review

Rough cut in 5 to 7 business days. You review with timecoded notes. Final delivery lands about 2 business days after we have your feedback. Our video editing in Charlotte, NC team handles graphics, captions and callouts in house.

05

Delivery And Updates

Master files, LMS encodes, caption files and short cutdowns. When a procedure changes, we reopen the project and update the affected section instead of reshooting everything.

Why Companies Choose Us For Training Video Production

We have been doing this in Charlotte for 20+ years across 500+ projects, with a 4.9 Google rating from 115+ verified reviews. That track record matters on a safety project because you are handing a crew access to your facility and trusting them to represent your standards on camera.

You get 1 point of contact from the first call to final delivery. Jane handles scheduling and client experience. Charles runs the set. Nobody gets passed between departments, and nobody shows up on your site who has not been briefed on your rules.

We are also a full production shop, so the training video is rarely the only thing we shoot that day. Teams pair it with drone video production for site overviews, recruiting content, or a video production company in Charlotte, NC retainer that keeps content coming all year.

That retainer model is how most of our long term clients work. We act as an extension of your marketing and HR teams, plan content monthly, and film in batches so cost per video drops as the library grows.

Safety and Training Video Production FAQ

How much does safety and training video production cost?

We quote custom packages to choose from after a scope call. Cost depends on shoot days, number of locations, how many procedures you need covered, whether you want a Spanish version, and the length of the finished modules. Book a call with Jane and you get a firm number, not a range.

How long does a training video take to produce?

Most projects run 3 to 5 weeks from kickoff. Scripting and expert review take the first stretch, filming is usually 1 or 2 days, then you get a rough cut in 5 to 7 business days and final delivery about 2 business days after your feedback.

Can you film inside an operating facility without shutting down production?

Yes. Most of our safety work happens in live plants. We complete your site orientation, follow your PPE and escort rules, and plan the shot list around shift changes and equipment cycles so nothing stops for us.

Do you produce Spanish language versions?

Yes. We script, record voiceover and cut a full Spanish version alongside the English master, plus bilingual on screen text and caption files. Planning both from the start is far cheaper than adding one later.

Do you work with companies outside Charlotte?

Yes. We are based in Charlotte, NC and film regularly across North Carolina, South Carolina and the wider Southeast. Multi site clients often book several facilities in 1 production trip to cut travel cost.
