How Our Pricing Actually Works

Every project gets custom packages to choose from after scoping. Not a menu. Not a rate card you have to assemble yourself. We look at what you need, we build the plan, and we give you a single number with the deliverables spelled out.

We do that because published price tiers lie. A 2 hour interview shoot in 1 conference room and a 3 location brand film with drone coverage are not the same job, and pretending they fit the same box helps nobody. Scoping takes 1 conversation and it saves everyone the surprise invoice.

What you get back is a written scope, a price and a timeline. If the scope changes, we requote before we shoot, not after. See the range of work we quote on our Charlotte video production page.

What Drives The Cost

8 things move a video production quote up or down. Understand these and you can steer your own budget before you ever talk to us.

Driver 01

Crew Size

A 1 videographer booking and a 4 person crew produce very different results. Lighting, audio and a second camera each add a person. More crew means more setups captured in the same day. Whatever size you book, 1 more of us shows up on set.

Driver 02

Shoot Hours

Half day and full day are not the same number. Setup and strike count. A tight schedule with clear priorities almost always costs less than an open ended day.

Driver 03

Number Of Locations

Each move costs time. Travel, reset, relight, re mic. Two rooms in 1 building is cheap. Three sites across the county is a different quote.

Driver 04

Number Of Cameras

Multi camera coverage speeds up interviews and is mandatory for live events. It also adds gear, an operator and more footage to sync in the edit.

Driver 05

Drone Coverage

Aerial adds scale to facilities, job sites and properties. Our pilots are FAA Part 107 licensed. See what it adds on our drone video production page.

Driver 06

Editing Hours

A clean interview cut is fast. Motion graphics, animation, color grading, sound design, subtitles and multi camera sync all take real edit time. This is where budgets quietly grow.

Two More Drivers Most People Forget

Driver 07

Number Of Deliverables

1 hero film is 1 edit. That same film plus 6 vertical cuts, a 30 second spot and a subtitled version is 4 edits. Deliverable count is the single biggest lever you control. Plan your social media content up front and the cost per asset drops hard.

Driver 08

Turnaround

Standard turnaround is rough cut in 5 to 7 business days, final about 2 business days after your feedback. Need it faster? Rush turnaround is available for an added fee because it moves other work off the bench.

The Lever

Batch Your Shoots

One well planned day can feed a quarter. Clients on a monthly retainer pay less per finished asset than clients who book 1 shoot at a time. That is not a discount, it is just less setup.

If you want a cheaper quote, the fastest moves are fewer locations, a tighter shoot window and a clear deliverable list. We will tell you which one saves the most on your specific project.

One Time Production Or Monthly Retainer

These are 2 different ways to buy, and they suit 2 different situations. Neither is a trick. Pick the one that matches how often you actually need content.

A One Time Production

You have a specific need with a specific deadline. A recruiting film, a trade show loop, a customer testimonial, a facility walkthrough. We scope it, quote custom packages to choose from, shoot it and deliver it. Clean start, clean finish.

This is the right call when the project stands alone and you do not have a steady drumbeat of content to feed.

A Monthly Retainer

You need content every month and you are tired of starting from zero each time. We act as an extension of your marketing team with planned shoot days, a set deliverable count and a predictable monthly number you can budget against.

Retainer clients get first call on our calendar, shorter briefs and faster turnaround, because we already know your brand. See how that plays out in the Crown Auto Group case study.

What Is Always Included

Some things never show up as an extra on our quotes. They are simply how we work.

01

Pre Production Planning

Scoping call, shot planning, call sheet and location confirmation. You know the schedule before the crew arrives.

02

Professional Gear And Crew

Cinema cameras, controlled lighting and broadcast audio come standard. You supply access and people, we supply everything else.

03

1 Revision Round

Every deliverable includes 1 revision round as standard. Gather your notes into a single pass and turnaround stays fast.

04

Full Usage And Commercial Rights

Final Cut Multimedia retains copyright and you receive full usage and commercial rights, so you can run the work anywhere. Full ownership transfer is available as a separate buyout.

05

A Defined Timeline

Rough cut in 5 to 7 business days. Final about 2 business days after your feedback. Professional video editing on a schedule you can hold us to.

06

A Crew, Never Just 1 Person

Whatever you book, 1 more of us shows up. Book a solo videographer and 2 of us arrive. Book 2 videographers and you get 3. Book a 3 person crew and 4 people are on set.

One scope. One quote. No surprise invoice after the shoot.

The Rush Fee, In Plain English

Our standard edit timeline is rough cut in 5 to 7 business days and final about 2 business days after your feedback. That schedule assumes your project takes its normal place in the queue.

A rush job does not. It moves other clients down the list, it puts editors on nights and weekends, and sometimes it means adding crew to compress a shoot into fewer days. That is why rush turnaround carries an added fee.

Tell us the real deadline during scoping. If we can hit it on the standard timeline, we will, and you pay nothing extra. If we cannot, we quote the rush before you commit so the decision is yours and not a line item you find later.

How To Get A Quote

Build Your Monthly Plan

01

Tell Us The Goal

Not the shot list. The outcome. Are you hiring, selling, training or launching? The goal decides the format long before it decides the budget.

02

We Scope It Together

One call covers locations, people, timeline and where the finished work will run. We flag the drivers that are quietly inflating your project and offer alternatives.

03

You Get Custom Packages To Choose From

A written scope, a deliverable list, a timeline and a single number. No line item menu to decode and nothing hidden behind an asterisk.

04

Deposit Locks The Date

Shoot dates are locked once a deposit is received. Final deliverables are released after full payment.

We quote everything from corporate video and construction video to dealership content and safety and training videos. Same process every time.

What Different Budgets Buy

Scope changes the shape of the work. A single interview setup, a multi camera event and a full facility production are 3 very different days. Here is what each looks like finished.

Pricing FAQs

Why are there no prices listed on this page?

Because a published number would be wrong for almost everyone. Crew size, shoot hours, locations, cameras, drone, edit hours, deliverable count and turnaround all change the total. We quote after scoping so the price matches the actual job.

Do you quote by the hour or as a package?

Every project gets custom packages to choose from after scoping. You get a written scope, a deliverable list, a timeline and a single number instead of a line item list you have to assemble yourself.

What is the difference between a project and a retainer?

A one time production covers a specific need with a specific deadline. A monthly retainer makes us an extension of your marketing team with planned shoot days and a set deliverable count every month at a predictable monthly number.

How does the rush fee work?

Standard turnaround is rough cut in 5 to 7 business days and final about 2 business days after your feedback. Rush turnaround is available for an added fee, quoted up front before you commit.

When do I pay and when do I get my files?

Shoot dates are locked once a deposit is received. Final deliverables are released after full payment. More answers live on our FAQs page.

How many people show up on set?

Always 1 more than you booked. Book a solo videographer and 2 of us show up. Book 2 videographers and 3 show up. Book a 3 person crew and 4 people are on set. Every package comes with a crew, never just 1 person.
